Vicharn Minchainant ((英語:Vicharn Minchaiynunt)) ((タイ語:วิชาญ มีนชัยนันท์), born July 24, 1960) is a Thai politician. He is a former Bangkok Member of Parliament, Pheu Thai Party deputy leader, and head of Pheu Thai Bangkok MPs. From the electoral victory of People's Power Party in 2008, Vicharn had served as Deputy Minister of Public Health twice under Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej〔 and Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat〔 until 2008 Thailand political crisis == Background and Education == Vicharn was born at Min Buri, Bangkok, to Mr. Paitune and Mrs. Supatra Minchaiynunt. The family had been influential in rice business in Min Buri for decades making them one of the most well known family in Eastern Bangkok. He is a nephew of (Dr. Suthee Minchaiynunt ), the President of Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. Vicharn is married to Jintana Minchainant ((タイ語:จินตนา มีนชัยนันท์)) and have 4 children. One of Vicharn's brothers is Wirat Minchaiynunt (Thai: วิรัตน์ มีนชัยนันท์), a three-time Member of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council.
